Higher Ground (HG) is a faith-based organization of people who love to spend time in nature - hiking, bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, snow skiing, and exploring together. We are located in Lancaster County, PA. Most of our expeditions start and end in Leola. We enjoy outdoor exercise and like connecting "on the journey"...on hiking trails, rails-to-trails, lakes, rivers, ski slopes, etc. Come out and experience Higher Ground with us. 2005 Trip to See Migratory Snow Geese

Pic from HG 2005 trip to Middle Creek WMA to observe the migratory snow geese. The day of our '05 visit was beautiful. We were told that there were approximately 150,000 snow geese at this site.
